The dairy industry received support from USDA Friday when the department's Commodity Credit Corporation accepted a bid from an exporter under the Dairy Export Incentive Program. The agreement makes is possible for 600 metric tons of butter to be shipped to Africa and the Middle East.

Challenge Dairy Products is handling the deal and shipments will be made between January 6 and April 6, 2010.
